Don't record the fight.
Don't pile on because everyone else is doing it.
And if someone is being treated badly…
**have the courage to be the person who changes the situation.**

They delete social media.
They complain about headaches or stomachaches.

Kids can become incredibly good at hiding things they don't know how to explain.
So during this fall break, check in.
Put the phone down.
Take the earbuds out.
Sit beside them.
And ask:
**“How are things really going?”**
Then give them enough silence to answer.
And kids…
Look around at your friends too.
Check on the loud friend.
Check on the quiet friend.
Check on the funny friend.
Check on the friend who always says they're okay.
You never know what someone is carrying.

October 26–30, we’re mixing a little Halloween fun with an important message: **Dress Up. Stand Out. Stay Drug Free!** 💚
Each day has a different dress-up theme:
💤 **Monday – Dream Big, Stay Drug Free**
Wear pajamas or comfy clothes!
🏀 **Tuesday – Team Up Against Drugs**
Wear your favorite team jersey, school colors, or sports gear!
🤪 **Wednesday – Drugs Are Wacky**
Crazy hair, mismatched clothes, silly socks, backwards outfits — the wackier, the better!
🕺 **Thursday – Drug Free Through the Decades**
Pick your favorite decade and dress the part — 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, Y2K and more!
🎃 **Friday – Say BOO to Drugs!**
Since Halloween is the next day, wear your Halloween costume to school!

👀 **WATCHING IS A CHOICE TOO.**
Not everyone who sees bullying is the bully.
But not everyone is completely innocent either.
Sometimes we laugh because everyone else is laughing.
Sometimes we record it.
Sometimes we share it.
Sometimes we stand there silently because we're afraid we'll become the next target.
We understand.
Standing up isn't always easy.
But imagine being the person surrounded by people…and realizing **not one person is willing to stand beside you.**
You don't have to make a speech.
You don't have to start a confrontation.
Sometimes courage looks like:
“Come sit with us.”
“Leave them alone.”
“That's not cool.”
Deleting the video instead of sharing it.
Getting an adult.
Or simply sending a message afterward:
**“Hey. I saw what happened. Are you okay?”**
Those five words can matter more than you realize.
🍂 **TODAY'S CHALLENGE:**
Teach our kids not to give cruelty an audience.
Because when nobody laughs, nobody shares, and nobody joins in…

Sometimes it follows kids home in their pockets.
A screenshot.
A Snapchat.
A TikTok.
A group text.
A gaming chat.
An embarrassing picture.
A rumor sent to 20 people in seconds.
And sometimes it's intentionally leaving ONE person out just so they know they weren't invited.
Before you hit **SEND, POST, SHARE, or LIKE**, ask yourself:
**Would I say this if that person were standing in front of me?**
Better yet…
**Would I say it if their mom, dad, grandma, or someone who loves them was standing beside them?**
If the answer is no, your screen shouldn't make it okay.
🍂 **TODAY'S CHALLENGE:**
Kids — go back through your messages and social media.
If you see someone being torn down, don't add to it.
Don't like it.
Don't share it.
Don't screenshot it for entertainment.
Don't pile on.
And parents — talk to your kids about what happens online.
Not because you want to invade their lives.
Because **their online life IS part of their real life.**
