Norwood Public School is asking all parents and guardians to take a few minutes to complete and return the Federal Impact Aid Survey.
This survey is extremely important because the information collected could help Norwood Public School qualify for additional federal funding. Impact Aid provides funding to school districts that serve federally connected students, including some students whose parents or guardians work on qualifying federal property or who live on certain federally connected property, including qualifying Indian lands.
For a small rural school like Norwood, every funding opportunity matters.
Additional Impact Aid funding could help support educational programs, staff, classroom supplies, technology, facilities, and other resources that directly benefit our students.
This Is Not a Fundraiser
Families are not being asked to donate money or purchase anything. We are simply asking you to take a few minutes to complete the survey.
Norwood must collect accurate information from our families in order to determine which students may meet federal requirements. If surveys are not returned, the district could miss an opportunity to receive federal funding for which it may be eligible.
Even if you are unsure whether your family qualifies, please complete and return the survey. School personnel will review the information and determine whether it meets the federal requirements.
Completing the survey does not affect your taxes, employment, or benefits.
Every Form Matters
Norwood Public School serves approximately 113 students. While we may be a small school, each of those students deserves every opportunity and resource we can provide.
A few minutes of your time could help Norwood pursue additional funding that can make a meaningful difference for our students today and for students who attend Norwood in the future.

How to Complete the Survey
Parents and guardians are asked to:
- Complete and sign the Impact Aid Survey.
- Return the completed form to your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
- Complete the survey even if you are unsure whether your family qualifies.
For added convenience, an online version of the Impact Aid Survey will also be available in the Documents section of the Norwood Public Schools website.
